They’re messing with Gmail, Google Sheets and Calendar a bit much for my comfort, my business relies on these to work with no change to any part of the product and perfectly. Adding non deterministic tools to these is them walking on a tight rope as I won’t be dealing with fallout from the mistakes and issues caused due to Google spiking unsolicited non opt out “features” to my business workflow.

I landed home from US yesterday. It was my first time travelling there, had no issues and it was safe as long as you are taking basic precautions in some areas. I stayed in good areas, people were very nice and friendly too. It is quite unlike the constant bombardment of negative news I read before going there, that got me worried as well, however being from first world English speaking country passport and ethnic immigrant appearance I did not have to provide social network of parents and siblings and process was easier. It is stricter for some countries than others at the immigration but that is at my home as well.

The sabotage is done by design, even good ones get ruined so that the novel one gets attention and gets sold else people watch stuff on repeat which makes less money and less reasons for industry to produce and sell content.

And also humans who don’t bother developing their intelligence or behave better.

I wouldn’t want the listener to be uncomfortable or worse inadvertently hurt while delivering the message in the best way possible. Being appropriate is certainly the key but the listener too has a key role to play in taking the message in correct way, for this trust and intent needs to be established first as it is possible for listener to interpret the message in a construed or improper way, or worse make a normal thing sound bad or weird.

Yes true, but cd’s don’t deteriorate as fast. I’m using cds (cheap and not the best) from 90s and the data is still perfectly readable. I do understand it won’t work for many cases now though.
