Good question. For filters, I have various template sensors set up to monitor the age of the filters, then have automations to alert me when they are due for replacement.
I must have been doing this a while - I’ve got one coming due that is only replaced every five years (for the ice maker).
Debian on my server, my desktop, my laptop, and my gaming computer. That last one might be the most questionable choice, but so far it has been working well.
Just works. No issues.

That’s a really good point. He’d probably love it.

Roasts are intended to be good natured. Insults from friends who actually like you a lot. They aren’t meant to be taken seriously. And it’s done with the consent of the roastee. Not everyone has skin thick enough for it.
At least, I think that’s what you are confused about.

His book Last Rites is pretty interesting.
I still can’t believe he’s gone. I know he should have been gone years ago, but now that it has happened, it’s hard to believe.
You have your answers, but I just want to note that what I do is run rsync from cron nightly, without the delete option.
Basically this reduces the chances of losing something by accidentally deleting it on the primary drive. Every few weeks/months, I run the rsync command with the delete option to clean up.
It’s not a perfect backup by any means, especially since I could erroneously delete something right before that second rsync command and lose it for good. But it does provide a measure of safety.
What width tire can you run? My Pass Hunter is limited to 30 with 700s in the rear (front can be wider). It’s wider for 650b wheels, but I couldn’t tell you what it is off the top of my head.
The frame design reminds me of my Velo Orange Pass Hunter. Crazy heavy - it’s 7-8 lbs more than my road bike, but I didn’t build it to be a speed demon, it was intended to be an all day touring setup.
Glad you have recovered from the crash and are riding again!

If anyone else is wondering what that surgery is, it’s to remove bald spots.
Recommend not searching it, the pictures were not great (not showing the surgery, but the results). I’m sure you’ve seen much worse, but why take the hit?

Reread it until you figure it out!

When this was still big, a friend of mine said he saw it and really liked it. I casually said, “Be sure to watch it all the way through!”
I don’t know what prompted me to say that.
A few weeks later, we were talking, and he suddenly said, “Oh, BY THE WAY…I tried to watch Badger Badger Badger all the way through…” He said watched for “a while” before he caught on.
If I tried to plan a practical joke, it would never go as well as that one did.
I sent an article about this to him. He laughed.

Nice. As with any trailer, you want about 60% of the weight ahead of the trailer wheels. I doubt sway will be a problem at bicycle speeds, but that weight distribution should help keep it stable.

Yeah, here, I see comments about their footwear or possibly wearing a turban. Oh and none of them can speak English. In fairness, English proficiency is a requirement to get a CDL (commercial driver’s license), and somehow some states did issue CDLs to people who were not proficient in English…but I seriously doubt it’s more than a tiny percentage of drivers that don’t meet the standard.

Or, to put it more simply: Christians overwhelmingly voted for Trump.
Not all of them, definitely, but a huge percentage did.
That’s what they are.

Supply-side Jesus worshipper.

In the US, every time I see any video of a truck crash, there are tons of racist comments about the driver of the truck, who can’t even be seen in most of the videos.
Because, as everyone knows, no white guy has ever caused a truck crash. Ever.
I assume the issue here is that they sit around all day listening to right wing radio.
A high percentage of the people I see driving apparently are following the advice of that sign.

Let’s not forget who stopped it: Mitch “I believe he did it, but I’m voting NOT GUILTY” McConnell.
How much do you want to bet that this guy has been on the internet calling people snowflakes unironically?
