Imagine thinking people want solarpunk because of this ad, and not realizing that this ad was made because people already want solarpunk

those graphs aren’t that great and easy to misinterpret: the 9M is the total number of posts, that were ever posted to lemmy. the graph just shows what that number was for each day (so for example the graph shows 8.9M yesterday and 9M today, that means 100k posts in one day)

I was mostly just looking at total active users

Do you seriously not get that the comment you replied to just explained why they think OP did it, and in no way whatsoever said that it’s the right thing to do? IMO it even sounds like they strongly disagree with that trend.

I think this post is looking to have a (real) conversation. Why do you think that’s not the case?
