I play this game called Deadeye Deepfake Simulacrum a little while back. It’s a weird sorta immersive sim type game. You hack computers and shoot people and a bunch of other stuff as a cyborg corporate agent/debt-slave. It was cool

Did u play it on a console with a controller ? I played it back around release like that and didn’t enjoy the combat. The story did keep me playing and when it came out on PC i found playing using mouse and keyboard controls completely changed the experience for me to being actually decent. just me maybe tho

The LIRR workers were without a contract for like 3 years ? they went on strike for 3 days and got their contract…

workers sabotaging their unethical workplace maybe ? hope so

a lot of people try as much as possible not to acknowledge the humanity of service workers, its completely normal for those workers to become numb to the endless stream of jackasses. Even if the next guy coming up does acknowledge them and treat them like a human, its hard to fault any perceived carelessness. Its also not limited to young people, any supermarket I go to has older peole working and you will encounter the same phenomenon. Its the alienation of labor under capitalism.

alienation of labor

do you take any meds for UC additionally ? or are you able to manage entirely by fasting ?

I got a couple thou in the mail from Starbucks as restitution for violating my rights as a worker. For once in my life the law actually protected me to some degree so thats pretty nice
not muh human nature argument pls. If anything capitalism is the system more susceptible to antisocial behavior. it openly rewards it.
I feel like youre more or less saying “yeah capitalism works just fine as long as we ignore the people that have to get crushed to death to sustain it”
