This is not a new menace, nor is it just Western countries who are dealing with it.

Mercenaries have been around forever and everyone is using them. I would say that the entire continent of Africa has been menaced far more than ‘Western’ countries.

Just awful. I hope they can continue the push towards green energy sources and not have more of these incidents.

Find writing prompts and make it a habit to do one per day or 4 per week. Something small to start. Even if you just respond with a paragraph or two to the prompt, it will exercise your creativity.

I also like the suggestion of reading a book. It forces you to focus on a single task for a period of time and can inspire you.

But Iran just demonstrated how important it is to the world. The USA just demonstrated that it is a paper tiger unable to achieve its stated goal.

Countries are selfish and will act in their own interest. Right now, that means making a deal with Iran.

This is just a game to these assholes. A chance for them to play with their new toys. Fucking disgusting.

But have they? And how soon until they are operational?

They can want to procure a lot of planes, ships, etc. But it means nothing until they are in hand and troops are trained on the new systems. We shouldn’t down play the USA taking loses when there is the potential for a wider conflict.
