I think that’s the problem, most people think this is movie A.I. and it can do anything. In reality it’s just a tool like the computer is a tool. I use A.I. all the time to help me do my work, I don’t use it to do my work.

Yep. 20 years ago I applied for a screener job with the TSA, just to take the test to see if you qualify you have to spend time going over the NDA and understand what you’re signing.
I know for a fact that everything I saw is now outdated and useless, yet I still have about 55 years left before I can talk about it. And before anyone asks, no I didn’t see anything special, just overly security conscious government B.S.
I’m glad to see others still have the fight in them. I’m in my 40’s, burnt out, no wife or kids to fight for, and my parents are in their late 70’s. I spent a lot of my life fighting to make things better and it’s only gotten worse faster, I’m tired, I’m burnt out, and I just don’t care anymore, I just want to pass the torch to someone who still cares and then live a quiet life.

Same, I have the yearly subscription not because I use the features but because I want to support the project.
I’ll leave the subscription for now, but the second they start LastPassing things up I’m cancelling the subscription.
Also my start 9 has VaultWarden as an official app, I just haven’t seen the need to get it setup, now I do. I guess I know what I’m doing this weekend…
At this point, they can have it. They just have to figure out how to upload my consciousness to a computer, load that computer into a von Neumann probe, and fire me off into space. Yes I like the Bobivers series. I’d kick back a few rocks to mine on my way out to pay my way, then take off and start exploring.
In the realm of possibility just give me $10 million so I can invest it and live off the dividends. I’ll build a nice three bedroom house and keep to myself and just work on things that actually interest me instead of working to survive. They can have their hellscape utopia, I just want to be left alone.

They spent the last several years trying to keep this from happening but just couldn’t make it happen in the end. I guess you could say, the spirit was willing…

Glad I’m not the only one who feels that way.
The first one was a masterpiece, two was good, but 3 & 4 just felt like they were pushing to hard to release quickly and had no real sole. The first John Wick I can rewatch over and over and enjoy every viewing. The rest… once was enough.
Yep, separate machines is the way.
My employer provides all of us with laptops for remote work, and management with cell phones. Some of these people (managers included) use the laptop as their sole computer for everything, and most of management takes advantage of the fact that if you port your phone number to the company phone you can switch between profiles and have the company pay the phone bill.
I look at these people and just marvel at their stupidity. My work laptop is on a segregated network and shut down when not in use. And if it goes like it looks like it’s going, when I get a manager cell phone, I’ll be keeping my personal phone separate. Keep’em separate always.

Oh the irony of that 80’s commercial…
No you snap the strap/cord, but it still requires two pats, though the pats can be subdued with palm resting on the object and only the fingers doing the patting while you slightly lean against the object to subtly prove your point.
Back and knees here, Aleve twice a day, Advil for flare ups. I’m pulling for ya, we’re all in this together.
Aleve or Advil for the back?
Hey if YT works for you, then use it.
Check out Nebula, it is paid but there are no ads and they have a decent amount of YouTubers and are adding more regularly.
Also your feed is based on subscriptions not an algorithm.

Please stop sane-washing calling any of the military or government “his”. It’s supposed to be our government and our military. Don’t let him normalize that it belongs to him.

" That makes no sense"
So you agree it’s the most likely outcome from this regime.
I was not CDL driving but I hauled New York Times from the print site on one side of Ohio to a distribution hub on the other side. I spent a lot of hours on the road 6 days a week. You aren’t kidding about trying to find a restroom at night and all the hassles from construction, other drivers, detours, ect. If it weren’t for highway rest areas and truck stops, there would be basically nothing for drivers at night.
I always had an overnight bag with me, but thankfully never had to use it. Nothing but respect for drivers, the nation runs on their backs, we really should be taking better care of them.
