Rpcs3 is always there to be added as a non Steam game
Edit:ShadPS4

You’re into Linux because either you want to escape capitalism/closed source monitoring every aspect of your life, or because muh freedom.

Yeah that too was a big reason why I stopped.

Mental outlaw is a bit of nutter IMO. I couldn’t live with that level of paranoia, so I stopped watching him.

Not if you’re the shareholder of a company suffering from a zero day exploit.
Exact same boat as you… Urgh. Maybe community drivers are possible?

Agreed, just like any other emulation. The term “legal” threw me, because most people don’t have personal ROMs of PS2 games hanging around.

Ah fair enough lol. Reading comprehension issue of the day for me.

How is this legal? Very glad it exists

That’s a game selection issue IMO. Busy people shouldn’t play games they don’t have the time to get invested into. AAA design and marketing has pushed this idea that every game has to be this big 100 hour open world RPG narrative adventure, but there’s so much good stuff out there that’s over in less time or doesn’t demand huge play sessions.

Might as well just straight up jack it instead of thinking about the game at all.

Thank you for your response.
Right, so a bitwarden Linux desktop client could be the 2FA solution.
Banking websites: fair point.
OSMand is an option. Perhaps Organic Maps would work too as it already has a desktop Linux client?

Apparently Linux phones are missing a lot of features still? I would need maps, MFA app, banking apps, and (preferably) a Google wallet type function to make the switch.

Is this article written by AI? Some long running, poorly phrased sentences here.

LTT describes that the XBOX team have also trimmed down 2GB of W11 desktop bloat with this and have attempted to make the W11 experience more similar to a console. I’m curious to follow this. I’d imagine Microsoft are a bit intimidated by the fact that SteamOS is a better handheld gaming OS than Windows. Obviously this must have been in the pipeline for a long time now.

100% agree. Pleasing Gamers™ is a Kafka trap.

I was thinking about how I haven’t seen that term used in gaming journalism for quite some time.
As someone pointed out, ShadPS4 is the emulator. It apparently works well now. Depends on your PC but I think 60fps high resolutions is achievable.
