Yep got the exact same lecture when I called out the ““leftists”” in question for voting for genocidaires and imperialists for literally nothing since it was very clear they weren’t going to win anyways (and what do you know, all that genocide support they did DID turn out to be all for nothing). All so that they could possibly maybe get some more handouts. It just got comical because they tried to pivot to explaining how voting for the democrats doesn’t equal supporting the democrats???
