It’s a fun read!
I’m freaking out trying to think of what I could pivot to as the industry implodes
So far, nothing that pays as well

I agree completely, but the next best thing is making them irrelevant
For some people, sure - actively choosing chrome despite knowing the kind of company Google has become is silly
But then I think about the people who have chrome pre-installed on their phones, with no ability to remove it. Despite using a different browser, they still got burned by this.
I do believe lemmings have a higher tech literacy than the average internet user, but I also believe tech literacy shouldn’t be a requirement to hide from ai.
The people who boast about using chrome and insist other browsers are trash absolutely had their faces eaten… But the people who did their best to avoid chrome did not
This is not a “leopards ate my face” situation.

I keep falling out of the hobby because I don’t want a printer to be my hobby - I want printing to be my hobby. But no matter how many times I try to pick it back up, my printer never produces a good print.
I’m on the other end of the swing again - looking for tuning tutorials to help get my cr10 printing well. I am very open to suggestions.
I do like tinkering with the printer, and I do want that control, but eventually it gets to a point where I just want it to work

People who give their cars a human name. “Jack got a flat tire” or “I need to get Petunia an oil change”
Don’t get me wrong, I certainly have had unique names for my car - “The White Wonder”, “The Papa Mobile”, “The truck” - but something about using human names is important to the people who do this, and I just don’t get it.

Why tf can my browser read my battery percentage or if it’s charging?
Edit: Chrome can see this info, Firefox apparently removed the API allowing such access

I can’t wait until he suggests his eldest son should take over after he dies because how much worse can things get?

The Frenchman covered his body with Vaseline to reduce the friction on his body and Sudocrem to combat the effects of the saltwater on the skin.
From a Newsweek article, and because I was curious. I’m still not sure why that bit of skin is exposed, though…

Risky click of the day!

Isn’t that exactly why we’d want him removed before December?

“if you think about it” hehehe

Do qanon next!
I started working as a cook at 14
I walked to the restaurant close to my house, told the first person I saw “I want a job, but I don’t want to work with people”. They stuck me in the kitchen and taught me everything. Did that for 14 years.
