Yeah I had something similar when I had my 24U rack somewhat half occupied some years ago. Nowadays I have the same occasionally as I have two electric cars.
And I have a 10kWp solar system, too. So I can get by summertime with some <500kwh bills.

Works on my machine 🤷

I’ve just deployed bunch of win10-iot devices in an engineering workshop with write protection. Those are supported until 2032 so we’re good.
Gonna continue running linux at home, tho. In the office, because of autodesk, we’re gonna have to have something windows.
Fuck autodesk
I think I’ve seen these in LA.
Always wondered whats the use case. If I see these in the parking lot, no deals inside are pulling me there enough to stop by.

Could you maybe resfresh my memory a bit and share a few previous signal hacks? Thanks

I have a p8p as well and am a sucker for contactless pay.
I have a samsung android watch which costs like $50 second hand to get around the wallet not working on graphene.
I dont really care anymore about gathered metadata that much. I was more black and white earlier, but nowadays I just try to minimize the cloudification instead of being completely against it.
I choose my battles, and being against google wallet isnt really worth some effort from my side.

Some time ago, I had a sales call with tailscale for a business as a consultant.
If enterprise features are needes, theyre 2x more costly per user than a few other sase providers.
While I love wg and been using that for a long time, I have hard time believing they’ll get clients with posted prices. There was some wiggle room, but still.
Personally I’ll use tailscale at home as a backup connection as long as its good.

Woudnt it be a better idea just to offer standard EV kits to turn combustion engine cars into EVs?
It’s unattainable for a low budget player to create and certify a car, and support it with parts for 20 years.
Just create a kit to turn your 10 year old VW into an EV, and let VW support the parts outside of EV domain

I’ve been running same ubuntu 18.04->20.04->22.04->24.04 virtual machine for matrix with synapse since 2019.
I’ve run it virtualized on multiple different thin clients, and in fact still do, on a t640. I’ve given 8gb ram and a few cores for it.
On slower cpus, such as the ones the thin clients I used before t640, loading a large room could take some time.
Love the guy.
Didnt watch the video but if its the gerstmann show I listened that as a podcast a few weeks ago.
I think he was generally in favor of it?
I do work where we have long shifts and rest periods within them, sleep time varying from 1 to 3 hours.
Pic related is how I feel when been awake for +24 hours but woke up after 3 hour to continue work shift
