Voyager as PWA through Chrome. Unfortunately. There’s just no other way I’ve found to easily copy anything I see on screen, be it any link or photo, to share it with others. It’s my issue with so many platforms…
This way I can just long press anything and share.
It’s just engagement bait and it works every time

Stuff like Wero matters and is making actual progress. Once they open up to merchants I hope to see it being a realistic homebrew payment network.

When I wake up from “about to fall asleep” I notice that during that period of not really sleeping I usually have music playing. It’s like calm cafe-like music usually and it happens practically every time I notice I’m in that state. Very pleasant!
That’s sort of what I’m alluding to. It seems to me that these people are in essentially the reality version of a casino with a painted sky. It looks and feels like outside, it’s just completely controlled by the people that own the casino and crafted entirely to keep the illusion up. They watch Fox, their friends might read Washington Post, their friend’s friends watch whatever else. More and more media is being bought by Billionaires that have a vested interest in maintaining the status quo.
It feels like you’re getting differing opinions because this guy reads this which is SLIGHTLY more moderate than that but overall it’s so far more right from what things were like even 10 years ago that it doesn’t really matter.
And people just don’t notice.
I think that’s potentially reading a lot from not much context. How do you know this is because of gas prices? Some of the people really are just completely mislead and believe that the “other side” is trying to convince them that these “untrue things” (that are true) are true.
It’s like how people say that Hillary Clinton is the devil and eats babies. You don’t believe that because to you, it’s obviously untrue. But to some of these people, the thought of “their side” being child rapists is probably as unbelievable as the baby eating thing is to you. And the more time goes on, the more irrefutable the pedophilia and human rights abuses are to more and more people.
I’m not saying that’s happening here, but I’m willing to give the benefit of the doubt without enough context.
But maybe I’m just also not quite as exposed to republicans as others are and I’m talking out of my ass haha
Honestly respectable. No “this isn’t what I voted for”, no “I disagree with this and that but overall it was the lesser of two evils”… Just plain and simple admission of having been incorrect and owning up to it.
Let’s hope they do better in the future.

Even in Edge, Outlook (a Microslop web app running on a Microslop browser) sometimes takes up to a minute to load on refresh. HOW!? God I hate that company.
In print, yes, in hand written maths I don’t mind the line

“A free market is self regulating” until someone makes a better product for less money, I guess.

They’re just filling a niche and it seems to work for them ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

One of the lucky 10,000
Still one of the most consistently funny movies I know
Its the “LGBTQ+ movement” not the “everyone movement” because it’s calling out how queer people have been historically marginalized and persecuted and not everyone. Cisgender, heterosexual people are the norm, that’s why this subcommunity exists. It just so happens that there are a lot of subgroups within this small community that share very similar idealogies and so it becomes (more or less) one bigger movement.
Moreover, the flag you sent came to be to specifically to call out all the different groups in the umbrella movement, to not let them get drowned out by the vagueness of the combined movement.
All these groups are fighting for different but not necessarily opposing things. Fighting simply for a “better life for all”, while noble, is really naive. You need to get specific about the things you want to tackle.
It’s not like these groups fight alone, you can be a feminist, anti-fascist, queer person of color and support multiple things you believe in.
Sure, but its exactly because words are important that its called feminism. When you’re talking about “egalitarianism” the goal is so vague that everyone can be on it. That’s why you have names like “feminism”, because that movement is focused on how we live in a patriarchal society and how women have been historically treated unjustly under it. Or “black lives matter”, which, although I’m sure would also agree that “all lives matter”, are focused on why historically, black lives specifically haven’t as much. Same thing for trans rights.
When you combine that all into one, all the nuance of the different groups gets lost and the average becomes “yeah but human rights are so much better than 50 years ago” to shut down discussion.
It’s definitely better than nothing but it doesn’t feel better than nothing.
Worse, you could chop him up to make a few hundred tiny billionaires or literally a million millionaires.
Reality is sad…
