walking at night is kinda hard now because your eyes will adjust to the dark and then suddenly the brightest car ever drives by and then you just cant see
I would love to see a Superman adaptation where David Tennant is Lois Lane, and Kristen Ritter is Superman

Now, did the FBI take the gold bars back to where they belong, or did they just put them in their own home?

Needed a fuel pump on my 90’s jeep, but the only options only had bad reviews. Bought one and the fuel pressure regulator on the new one failed in like 3 months. (Jeep decided in that year to put the regulator on the pump assembly instead of under the hood, and never sold them separately so you had to replace the whole unit, or try to frankenstein something together with a different pump and regulator, but the tank had to come off the car regardless.).
I’ve heard its pretty bad, esp if you’re a shop trying to fix customer vehicles. Can’t fix old cars, and new cars aren’t built to last nearly as long and are so expensive.

The ability to detect the firmware necessary for the cheats comes after collaboration between Riot and various motherboard manufacturers such as MSI, ASRock, and ASUS.
“Our games are so important that we need your help to break devices that your customers plug in to your products”

Something similar originally passed the Senate in 2022, and has done nothing since then cuz the House could never agree on it. From the article it sounds like this is a different bill originating from the House that would still need to actually pass the Senate
To me, I always get the vibe that the incessant advertising means they’re spending too much money on marketing and not enough on actually making a decent product. Maybe thats not true in some cases, but it puts me off of buying their product.

if a creeper blows up and kills me while using it, does it crash all my running programs?

taking the ‘fire’ in firearms a little too seriously

I set one up in a VM last year and it didn’t need a MS account as far as I remember (been a while since I’ve needed to boot it up)
Is Cornholio just alien speak for Crop Circles?!?!? Have we had the answer this whole time??
is polymarket reporting news here or are they reporting the results of a bet event contract?

when you’re competing in the asshole olympics, there’s no winners
It’s more about getting thoughts out of your head. I don’t really do it to make any particular note of my life. I find that sometimes it’s just nice to be able to dump thoughts on to a page (I only journal on paper) and maybe make a bit more sense of them.
I find that if you start writing without any real goal in mind, just whatever you’re feeling or whatever’s troubling you, it might uncover something to you that you hadn’t considered. A new perspective, maybe.

Maybe they let someone who’s somehow never played Skyrim before test the game on the Deck for the first time. “Wow, this game CANNOT be running right. Why does it behave this way? It must be unsupported”

the other 2/3rds scares me

I wonder if Blender’s actually received any actual real money from Anthropic, or if its just like, money hasn’t actually changed hands yet.
I know its not uncommon for big open source projects to accept money and sponsorships from corporations, but idk where Anthropic would really get the cash to even do this. AFAIK they’re still staying afloat on investor cash and are burning way more money running models than they can realistically charge people to use them.
I’ve never had good luck with any of Sabrent’s USB drive enclosures lasting that long. The last one I had also stopped showing up and made the disk make weird clicking noises after a few months of just sitting there. When I took the disk out of it and plugged it into a computer via SATA directly, the drive was perfectly fine and had no SMART errors
