Wow, I just finished reading the db0 conduct and it sounds more thought out than the piefed. Now I will look into migration before I leave for a work trip.
Thanks for your encouragement!

So, amazin?

I appreciate that! I am not in AUS tho, I guess I need to head over and see your rules. It would be my first time switching instances where I could move info over, that would be nice and a fun learning experience.

I don’t know how widespread this is yet, but I experienced it for the first time yesterday on Chromium. Have not on Librefox.
I didn’t know what was going on, so I left the site. Was only trying Chromium because the site had issues with Librefox.

Does Ubuntu Touch work on the 3a? That was my last phone, but after it was no longer supported by Graphene I bought a 7a. I don’t really like Ubuntu but would like to experiment with a Linux phone.

This stinks. I remember someone from anarchist.nexus posting a question about being banned but not seeing why (I think, I don’t remember the details) and a very terrible response from Rimu. I don’t see anyone else from piefed.social posting here but I can’t be the only one that has seen this negativity over the last month or so. Maybe time to instance hop again or use an old account. Guess I didn’t learn any lessons about flagships after being on kbin.social, although that was very different.

This makes sense! Similar vein to cultures that limit expressiveness, leading to low emotional intelligence.

I would think finger dexterity has more to do with what a person does with their hands for work and for fun, not an insult. I do not use my middle finger as an insult, but have always used my hands for work and would consider my middle two fingers to be my strongest. They can move independently, are farther from the thumb, and provide tactile feedback.

Reminds me of a webring!

I forget who, but a user on lemmy.ca has done some surveys of users (mostly on that instance?) and it would be interesting to see how much, if any, overlap exists between Linux users and Hannah Montana fans. I guess if this OS exists, there might be someone.
I am about 20 years in, started with Ubuntu and have been with Debian stuff since. I’m not a power user, so when I do any CLI work it’s familiar, but more recently have wanted to get a laptop to experiment with something different. I did appreciate Lubuntu on a cheap used laptop I bought about 15 years ago, currently using something provided thru Mint.
I’ve had very few problems. Not with software at any rate!

Hump plumping sounds like part of a job description for a fluffer!

It took me awhile, but what I was thinking of was from season 2 episode 1, “gravity” and really isn’t related here except for the tongue 🫣 I guess it has been too long… Thanks for dragging me into some memories ❤️

Wasn’t there a scene in Aeon Flux similar to this?

While awful, i think rates would increase if they marketed this to males. They may not care about women, but they probably don’t want penis cancer or warts.

What a great example of (the council) following the spirit of the law.

People can say what they will, but I see this as a great option for folks who shouldn’t have a dog (or can’t) but would otherwise benefit from social interaction. @[email protected] mentioned a beer league version. Fantastic! So many ways to wrap this instead of wrapping it as cooky or with an agenda in mind.

I don’t know the answer, but it’s funny you mention The (Three) Stooges in this context as that is the only video cassette I remember wearing out from new. It had three shorts (I think) including one where they worked at a laundry.
Never saw a video of The Stooges performing but that would have been cool, too.
Seems ok for me, since the 3a is an old phone, mostly kept around to move this one group to Signal/Molly.
