The IR blocking glasses won’t help with normal CV though, right? If you wear those glasses and try to unlock your iPhone, it won’t work because the IR array can’t read the facial features behind the glasses, but if you take a photo of yourself with said iPhone, they will appear as normal glasses

Was it actually reverted? I saw the PR to revert the change, but last I checked it was closed and not approved
Up until recently, Debian on everything. Main PC/ laptop are running Artix (Arch minus systemd) and my servers are still on Debian

The fear mongering

I agree, with the caveat that it’s very nice to be able to pay with my phone/ watch if/when forget my wallet, rather than having to go back home to get it.

For me it’s the Always Sunny in Philadelphia theme

Almost wish I could be part of the exodus, but I use none of these

That would mean that we peaked at the millennials?

Recently I’ll often get results that aren’t at all related to what I searched for. I also get a lot of timeouts from the upstream search engines, and sometimes I get results that are in Chinese for some reason

Self hosting and the maintenance is painless, but the results have been pretty terrible lately

So, these actually work great when IR is used (for example you won’t be able to unlock your iPhone when wearing them), however my question is, does this help at all when just a normal photo is taken? You can wear these, have a ‘normal’ photo taken and it just looks like you’re wearing standard glasses. That could then be fed through CV, etc?
Does systemd still have DOB fields added in anticipation of age verification, or can I come back from Artix?
