I just need one more guitar pedal and the world will be ready.

I don’t like this lady but y’all are truly sadistic. Every day I see comments on the fedi wishing for other people’s death and suffering. That’s not how a civilized society acts. I really hope most of you are just naive teenagers.

I know they say the evil ones never die, but I just don’t see the guy lasting many more years. If the water gets too warm, he’ll flee the country.

Taters, precious? No, pretty sure rocks

I live somewhere that has miles of beaches and some are world class fishing spots that are really only reasonable to get to if you drive when you consider all the gear you carry with you. There are plenty of spots you can just pull off the side of the road or park in a lot and have a great day at the beach, but not everything is walk accessible for some sports like surfing or fishing.

There’s nothing wrong with the rims at all. You are just a very angry, irrational person.

They are “floppy” because they likely deflated them after getting stuck. But if you want to let hatred blind your reasoning, go ahead.

No they don’t? I don’t like Musk or Tesla but this happens all the time where I live because people don’t deflate their tires to ~15psi before driving on soft sand. Doesn’t matter what 4wd vehicle you use, if you don’t deflate, you are much more likely to get stuck.

If I’m in the mood for dessert, I normally just have one bite of something sweet and that’s enough. I’ve had pints of ice cream last in the freezer for several months because after one spoon, I’m good. At work, they think I don’t eat any sweets at all. I’ve been told it’s my serial killer trait.

Go surfing if there’s any swell and the wind is right. Garden year round (zone 9a) - we get some freezing temps but can still grow a lot during winter. Play guitar a few times a week. Hang out with friends a couple times a week. Attend local music and art shows. Walks on the beach. Try to keep up with reading for fun and not just technical stuff. Play some video games. Kayaking when the wind is still (rare). Going for a cruise on my single gear bike (beach cruiser). Cooking a nice meal with my wife and guessing how much it would have cost at a restaurant. Letting our dogs pick the route we’re walking on today. Having a couple beers watching the sunset over the sound. Fishing with my mom and stepdad on their boat.

Way less than good coffee beans

Swapped drinking coffee for matcha. Energy levels are way more balanced now

Can only speak for myself, but they are a huge invasion of privacy. I know it’s a drop of water in a bucket with everything else hyper connected, but when I see them it’s always somewhere I’m just trying to enjoy something peacefully and even though it’s very unlikely I’m particularly being watched, it just feels like a huge privacy invasion.

I don’t think it’s wise to have your password manager and TOTP/MFA on the same platform. It’s especially risky if you bind your TOTP to your actual password manager, e.g., your example of one click authentication. Convenient? Definitely. But your entire identity stack is more a huge liability if you are ever compromised.

He’s still pretty enlightened centrist. I think he’s more concerned about making sure everyone thinks he’s cool than real gonzo journalism now, though.

Since it hasn’t been mentioned yet, Zim Wiki. Lacks some of the more modern features in a notes app, but I think that’s one of its strong points.
All you have to do is put one of those “Farm Vehicle” stickers/license plates on it and you’ve got a legal beastmobile
For personal use? Bazzite because it’s easy and stable. I have enough stuff breaking at work already…
This echo chamber is even worse than Reddit. Thank you all for showing how two wrongs don’t make a right. I guess most of y’all fall into the naive teenager basket.
