It took me all of about 20 minutes to remove the SIM chip from my 2015 Leaf, following a youtube video that showed everything step by step.
AFAIK, all cars before 2021 still have physical SIM chips, so easy to remove and disable the telematics.

However, I find their “Ask AI” LLM helper to actually be helpful for this. It’s linked at the bottom of the page on docs.frigate.video, and IMHO is actually one of the few LLMs that answers fairly accurately about items within its scope. It provides good source references to the actual docs that apply to the question.

It’s not what food “AI” controls, it’s what food Big Corps control. When you look at things like Monsanto -> Bayer GMO crop patents, John Deere unrepairable tractors, and on and on, it’s pretty ugly. AI is just the next tool in the agriculture mega-corps’ anti-consumer march, to continue to “optimize” gouging money from everyone else.
