But we do pay about 9% of our salaries into the health system, which is mandatory. Just another tax.
Monthly visit for me costs ¥1,420 (9 USD). When I had a wisdom tooth removed at a big hospital it cost ¥7,040 (45 USD).
Basically, we pay 30% of the actual cost. But if you reach a predetermined amount (about ¥90,000) in a month, then you don’t pay any more (or something like that, there is a system, but you have to apply at the time or retrospectively and get a refund)
Also, prices are less for kids (depends on prefecture). A week in hospital for a preschool child costs about ¥4,000. Doctor visits and medicine are often free until elementary school, where each may go up to about ¥500.
Oh, and ambulances are free.

The flag is not mounted to the lamp, but directly behind it. You cannot see the pole for the lamp.

One thing I try to do is to avoid procrastinating. If there is a task to do and I think to myself “I’ll do it later” I then ask myself “will it take more than five minutes”? If the answer is no, then I make myself do it.
I also use an app on my phone to keep a list of chores on a schedule. Having things lingering on the list is annoying, too. But the app allows me to skip or reschedule them. If you are on iOS and need some app like this I recommend PikaPika.

Amazing how a six paragraph long article managed to bury the lead.
Lede not lead. I mean this in the nicest of ways.

Luckily I’m not one of those guys haha

Financial institutions in Japan ask the same thing. It is because Americans have to pay tax to American even when they don’t live in America. It just means there is more paperwork apparently.

How about JCB?
If she uses Safari, there are some good plugins. Not all are free. StopTheMadness Pro is not cheap but is a solution for many annoyances, not just YT. UnTrap for YouTube allows you to hide many elements like shorts. And SponsorBlock automatically skips sponsored segments. If she uses the YouTube app, delete it and set up a shortcut on the home screen to open the web version instead.
