That one could be risky.
It’ll still cost you $180,000 though, good luck getting a penny back these days.

I have a licensed seat of Solidworks on my work computer; that’s where I learned to solid model. I also have an older pirated copy on my home computer but it requires Windows.
If I had to choose something free I would probably choose Onshape because it is very similar to Solidworks (it was created with help from one of the founders of Solidworks). However it sucks that all of your models are public.
Otherwise, the only viable option in my eyes would be Fusion 360.
I haven’t tried it, but I know there is a plugin for Blender that allows you to do parametric modelling but I’m sure the options are pretty limited.

I knew about the problems with Bambu long before I bought my new printer back in December. I ended up going with an Elegoo Centauri Carbon. It works out of the box without ever requiring you to set up an account, install an app on your phone, or connect to a cloud service. I just use mine with a USB stick.
I wanted to go with Prusa but the cost difference was too great for me at that time (I’m sure it still is).

Great news. My VPN is working!

Woke up with two new body parts myself this morning. None of them were aching this time though.

I wonder if Dassault will release a Solidworks for Linux now?
Almost always, IME anyways. If you haven’t seen Pet Cemetery, DON’T, because the kid hiding under the bed with the razor blade that will cut through your Achilles tendon might actually be there.

I failed to mention that I also consciously note when I touch something public. I’m fine with touching anything, shaking hands, etc. I just won’t touch my face or eat food until I’ve washed my hands again.

This is what I do. I just always try avoid touching anything directly with my hands. Knee, elbow, back of wrist, foot…lots of good options if you don’t have a sleeve or something disposable available.
Edit: Sometimes there is also the discrete move of letting someone go ahead of you. Looks polite and they touch it instead.

It looks to me like the building is just on higher ground. Otherwise, damn near the same height.
Calm down, that’s just what she looks like. Kind of like Big Foot, just naturally a little out of focus.

How long until Microsoft stops supporting Clipchamp altogether? Place your bets.

But then you’re just giving Trump an excuse to say his trademarked phrase, “You’re fired.”
Thailand is still part of the world, for now anyways.
