I love these because I don’t feel bad when it tumbles and gets a dent. Easy to replace, and potential weapon.

It works for me. Go for a run, hop in the shower. Earbuds stay in from the run. Nobody else listening to my phone. Dont have to worry about a phone shelf in the shower.

I also really really like noise canceling.

Bose quiet comfort. I dont put my ears in the water when I do this. They have capacitive touch controls so they will start cycling through the different noise canceling modes if they get even a few drops of water.

This works great in the bath, and fine in the shower if I’m not washing my hair.

I used to have some beats that had a mechanical button and they did even better because the little bit of moisture wouldn’t start activating the mode swapping or volume changes.

I wear my earbuds in the shower all the time.

I’m so confused. what’s going on? We’ve got naked folks, fighting, children on the ground, is that lady in white trying to hold the two men back? What in the world.

To anyone not switching because of this-- in my experience this is something I can work around. On most websites my captchas still work. I have had a few that dont work, and I just close the website and move on. It hasn’t happened on any websites that are very important for me to visit. Usually its a store and they really me to install their stupid app. Nope.

I didn’t think I’d have a problem with his bit given how much I liked the movie, but it definitely hits different today.

He lost me when he first started ramping up and suggested a means of control was to make us feel small and insignificant. I don’t feel that way. In fact, I feel the opposite. I’m not in a position to fix the worlds problems, but I see the influence of my will in the external world all the time. So that part felt a little gasslight-ey. Double that with knowing he goes on to build a huge platform and does absolute evil shit with it – you absolutely cannot tell me my quiet influcce is insignificant. Fuck you(AJ) dude. Also, felt like he’s projecting there, which is pretty modus a operandi for Jonesey – but maybe thats coded by my knowledge of his story since this clip.

Also, I am personally very intolerant of people hollering at me. So that didn’t help, but I did think the color changes in his face were hilarious additions to the animation. That animation made it worth finishing the clip. Lol

It has been so long since I watched, I totally don’t remember his bit at all. I learned of the connection on an episode of Behind the Bastards podcast. As soon as they mentioned it, I can totally hear his voice in it even though I don’t remember what he says. Apparently back then it was not super clear what a terrible person he would become, and he was a key figure in the “Keep Austin Weird” part of Austin TX. So it all kinda makes sense in context.

Great movie. I actually had a few lucid dreams after it. I attribute it to stress combined with the influence from this movie and a few other environmental factors.
