Bluey and Bingo (and I believe the other children on the show) were voiced by actual kids.
This reads like the author has never actually watched the show.
I haven’t and was surprised it was a girl.
This is the backdrop of many great comedians. It’s why Bojack Horseman hit so hard.
It sucks that Netflix only allowed the first two seasons (when it was just a cute, edgy cartoon about the unreality of Hollywood/LA, rather than a statement on the human condition) to be released on DVD/BluRay. I’d love to have a copy of “The View From Halfway Down” in my library.
Hit real hard. Watching Bojack Horseman coincided with the time in my life when I really needed to watch Bojack Horseman.
For real. Stupid Piece of Shit was the first time it really clicked that other people not only have internal monologues like that, but that it’s a really unhealthy way to see things.
I think it’s one way depression presents. Or at least, is a coping mechanism for. Especially for empathetic types.
