[a point of view is shown of a car being driven on a road at night]
[a character is shown taking off their glasses, smiling]
[every light on the road has now become distorted and blinding]
[the character rages, their eyes blinded by light]

i think this might the reason why i can’t stand black-ground, white-text websites and IDE styles; i have ghost textures all over my vision field and feel like my eyes are being cut out
opposite here with confirmed stigmatism.
When the foreground is too bright I can’t see anything around it.
I actually avoid driving at night because the city I live in is too bright at night. in my youth I lived in a rural location and could drive in pitch black night.
Yeah mine gives me the dark mode thing. It’s got so bad now (mid 40’s) that i just have to immediately close any websites that default to it without the option to change. The ghost layering compounds until i can’t even look at the screen. It’s not affecting my nighttime driving vision yet though.
I have a slight astigmatism in one eye, but I prefer dark mode for all the things. Light mode is blinding. Especially Teams and VSCode.
