I bought ny eldest a decent Lenovo laptop, but when the power port started playing up it required a full replacement motherboard to fix.
I bought Framework 13’s for the eldest 2, and will buy another this year for the next one.
It’s pretty easy actually. The framework is meant to be a forever laptop, and every other option is destined for the landfill
Isn’t that kind of true even for the framework? What do you do with your old components?
I don’t have to throw the whole thing away just because the lid magnet needs calibrating. Speaking from personal experience
You could fix most laptops to varying degrees except for Surfaces and new MacBooks, those are more of a pain in the ass.
