Why isn't the World Cup drawing foreign visitors as expected? Blame Trump's immigration policies, his Iran war and his tariffs.

Exactly they’re so disappointed but they didn’t lower prices so a lifelong soccer fan with an average income like myself can afford to go. The way prices are right now, it’s simply not an option, i couldn’t afford it on a credit card even if i was willing to ruin my finances!

Considering an average MLS game has an attendance around 22k im not sure you understand what you are attempting to dunk on.

But i get it, america dumb and what not. Meanwhile, quatar built their stadiums with slave labor, averaging 2 slave deaths a day on certain projects and every game was packed to the fucking gills.

          Live in reality.

Either when the world cup was in my country I didn’t go to any matches. Not that I could afford it, but even if I could I still wouldn’t have gone.
This time I won’t even watch it on the TV. That’s how much I dislike that fat cunt paedo and his regime.

(I also didn’t watch it when it was in Qatar.)

Boycotts matter. Advertisers spend a lot of money on air time and they know when they’re not getting a return on views.

Yes, boycotts matter. Real boycotts, like the Montgomery bus boycott that lasted for months and truly hurt the recipient financially - what MLK called “economic withdrawal”.

Punctual boycotts like buying nothing for one day, or not watching something on TV, are just feel-good stuff that actually achieve nothing at all.

Also, I will point out that it took a lot more than not listening to Hitler’s speeches on the radio to defeat him.

So yeah, do not watch the matches if it makes you feel better. But it won’t change a damn thing.
