As someone who makes knives and swords, seeing blade designs like this makes my insides scream.
They’re harder to make, and create an extremely weak point of failure.
but what if you want a blade that stabs into someone and then snaps off, leaving a chunk of sharp metal inside them?
But you don’t understand! The Wraeththu are just better than us, so they know how to make things that look weak from the point of view of a dumb, inferior human, but they’re actually even better than katanas, which we all know to be the pinnacle of human weaponsmithing!
