The female rabbit starts crying. Female rabbit: “NOOO! I DON’T FEEL PRETTY ANYMORE!”
The two rabbits burst out laughing.
Inside the house, a man and woman are doing a little roleplaying and the woman is wearing a sexy rabbit costume. They hear the laughter and look out the window into the garden. Woman: “ARE THOSE RABBITS LAUGHING AT US?”

IIRC, the playboy “bunny” outfits weren’t to make people think about the look or practice of rabbits, but rather to have them think of the alleged promiscuity of rabbits.
1000 guesses and I would never have pieced that together.
Wikipedia doesn’t back me up. They say the playboy bunny outfits are stylized after the logo, and the logo was approved by Hef because: “The rabbit, the bunny, in America has a sexual meaning; and I chose it because it’s a fresh animal, shy, vivacious, jumping - sexy. First it smells you then it escapes, then it comes back, and you feel like caressing it, playing with it.”
I think the “sexual meaning” he’s referring to is the “breed like rabbits” idiom but … even in that case, there seems to be a little more to it.
I wonder if that’s due to an older generational perspective on sexuality, being tied more with reproduction? Like before Boomers was the Great generation and before that… I dunno, but I do think that people married with a thought to (probably) have children, or at least did so with much higher frequency than today.
So perhaps that’s why we wouldn’t think along those lines today, but they may have back then.
I’ve heard songs about rabbit holes, whale hole, donut hole, diggy diggy hole… But none about human holes.
In a world of anthropomorphic animal people, the sexy freaks and awesome weirdos are part of the Skinny Fandom.
