    Yeah, it’s weird to me. It’s an issue, and I add mouths when I remember, but no matter what I do, I can’t see them as noses. I’ve also been told they still look like mouths even after I add the mouth, so I don’t know what to do

      Either make them more circular to give the nostril a more round appearance, or make them taller on the other side to show the profile of the nose a bit more. At least, those would be my first options.

      Maybe find a closed mouth solution too.

      Eh, it’s a distinctive style. If you workshop it and you like the result, great. If you don’t, thats fine too. They’re funny and now that I know what to expect I can read the nose for what it is. I happen to like your comics quite a bit even if I have been wondering why your characters are so smug and/or content all the time. I thought it was part of the humor ;-)

      For me I think part of the problem is my brain fails to notice the nose in panels that have mouths, and therefore I expect to see a mouth but not a nose in panels woth no mouths. Idk if that helps or even makes sense
