Ukraine has been using new mid-range drones to attack key bridges supplying Russia’s rear forces from the south, and battlefield footage appears to show the tactic inflicting significant damage.
The country’s 1st Separate Assault Regiment said it carried out the strikes over the last week on the Armyansk, Henichesk, and Chonhar areas, the three chokepoints between Crimea and the southern front.
Bridges in those areas, situated between 50 and 75 miles from the front lines, have been critical to the Kremlin’s logistics routes to the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson regions.
Win logistics and you’ve won the war
Finally, an appropriate use of the word slam in a headline.
You just slammed those authors with their sensationalist headlines. Lemming pounds journalists with scathing commentary slamming their headline wordage.
Don’t threaten me with a good time.

I just don’t get how this can be more effective than attacking the supports.
Concrete is a lot stronger than asphalt. The road deck is probably a thin concrete layer, with asphalt on top. The supports are probably solid concrete and a lot of rebar. Solid concrete will shrug off large explosives, but the road deck can be damaged with small explosives.
Im just guessing though.
Pretty much nailed it.
My education is mechE so I’m kind of cheating when it comes to guessing.
I know what you’re saying, but being educated isn’t cheating!
On top of what others have said, it would stop or slow vehicles at that point creating a bottleneck that’s easier to hit

Targeting supports probably takes time to line up. All the while there is counter fire on the drone. This way you can probably do some dive bomb tactics to minimize chances of failing.
I can see that. I would think then though you would want to dive bomb vehicles crossing it but I guess it would not be unlikely it might be a bit more prepared for attack when in use.
