Every worker in the US could stop working and it wouldn’t matter much, since the economy nowadays is mostly just a handful of big tech companies shoving money around in a circle. This alone is sufficient for the stock market to go stonks, and the rich becoming richer as a consequence. We normal workers are completely irrelevant and no threat to them and their wealth.
