there arent many movies or TV shows with an implicitly communist background like how there are a plethora of liberal shows. not focused on ideology but just shows made by us for us
obviously there are many movies from socialist states. you kind of underestimate them when you grow up in post socialist states but i grow to appreciate them ❤️
To be honest, I’m surprised YT hasn’t blocked leftist content creators, and wonder if it’s not for nefarious purposes, given the parent company’s origin and track record.
They don’t need to block them if the algorithm shadow bans them.
i get lady izahar and luna oi/noncompete and black liberation media among others in my feed.
I get them and the weird Communism with Yuri guy who makes “whacko soviet union things” shorts.

And it also deflects by saying “the videos are available, we are not biased and don’t censor anything for politcal reasons. Not our fault the content isn’t popular”
Yeah, I’ve noticed this with even very popular content creators.
Far more effective as a propaganda tool. And disputing that claim also requires harder evidence and more effort to not look like a “loonie”.
YT also silently unsubscribes people from some channels. I noticed this after I had to hit the subscribe button multiple times for a few content creators and heard some people saying the same.
