I don’t know why you’re equating feeling convictions and not being born in the US as disqualifiers for presidency. Felon status has never been a disqualifier.
I know you’re discussing what the actual laws on the books are, but I think the sentiment is that if felons aren’t allowed to vote why is it acceptable for them to run for office, especially for the highest office in the country.
Convicted felons also cannot be president. Seems like the disqualifiers don’t really matter anymore
