This is how the timeline gets fixed

January 2029 rolls around, they succeed, and minutes after it’s “official” he has a stroke and those people get what they deserve and Mamdani gets 8 years in the office.

    Wouldn’t that be poetic?

Convicted felons also cannot be president.

          Why did you say this?

… Because someone who was convicted of multiple felonies is currently the President of the United States of America. It was a social commentary on how things such as being a felon seem to no longer matter when disqualifying a Presidential candidate, and questioning why being a non natural born citizen would also disqualify a Presidential candidate

The “…” feels a little patronizing.

I don’t know why you’re equating feeling convictions and not being born in the US as disqualifiers for presidency. Felon status has never been a disqualifier.

              Please be nicer

I know you’re discussing what the actual laws on the books are, but I think the sentiment is that if felons aren’t allowed to vote why is it acceptable for them to run for office, especially for the highest office in the country.

Those who participated in sedition against the government can’t either, but here we are.

The laws do not matter anymore, if you don’t want them to and have the funds

          Why?

Dude’s gonna be sitting on life support with little to no brain function in the oval office, and the Heritage Foundation folks will be running the show.

So, pretty much exactly what we have right now, except with more AI generated speeches.

His dad didn’t have a lifetime diet of McDonald’s either, mainly because McDonald’s didn’t exist for much of his life in any notable format, but still!

I want to believe, but evil is a preservative. There’s a reason Fred Hampton died at 21 but Henry Kissinger lived to 100

If theres one thing I know about this guy, never bet against him. This MF should have hit consequences or death numerous times already, and he just goes on as though nothing happened. Because nothing has happened.

Maybe his last wish is to kickstart a civil war and this is his last chance. But the military didn’t go along last time, and considering he screwed them by starting the Iran war, it’s doubtful that they go along this time either.

So it’s just another chance to push his base into another conflict that they’ll lose. It’s gonna be great when there’s no presidential pardon coming their way for trying to stage another coup. They’ll finally get some real jail time.
