Yes he was a radical reformer and one of many Messiah claimants obsessed with the book of Daniel, but it’s pretty clear he was a Jew with a Jewish message for Jews. The idea that he would have gone along with Paul’s reforms doesn’t really track. Christianity is the religion of Paul.
