I’m not thinking any of this is signs of fraud or manipulation, but they’ve been counting ballots for at least 3 days and only 65% done. That’s kind of pathetic if you ask me. Don’t they have ballot scanners? Every election IMO should have ballots run though scanners (twice) and then random samples hand-counted to verify accuracy of the scanners. If it’s all done by hand you’re just as likely to introduce error as people become fatigued or zone out during processing.

Yup. Cost for copilot at my work just went up and the tone changed from, “Use it everywhere!” to, “Use it where it makes sense.” I mean, that should’ve always been the guidance but as usual the vendors gave them a good show with their shiny new tech, execs came in their pants, and the engineers were expected to make magic happen.
