The American Dream Mall is a monstrous shopping center and amusement park created as a shrine to capitalism, excess and everything wrong with America. Built over the span of 20 years on top of protected marshland finishing just in time to see everyone switch to online shopping. It received over a billion dollars in tax breaks but, is involved in multiple lawsuit including at least one for unpaid taxes because its on the brink if bankruptcy.
On top of all that, the place is just terrible as a mall. I could keep going on about how much this place such and all the controversies its involved in but I don’t have the time.

I think its that people see all the shitty things their own country does and realize that its not really and better. Especially if your an American and your tax dollars are used to fund a genocide for Israel and concentration camps in the US. Neither country has any morale high ground.

Heat pumps don’t work in freezing temps so replacing your entire system with a heat pump is a bad idea. Heat pumps are very efficient, so adding a heat pump to support your current system is a good idea.
And your plumer is right about it being efficient, at least as far as hot water for showers etc. during cold months. I’m not so sure how efficient that is during hotter months so using a heat pump for hot water during hot months would be efficient though.
Geothermal Heating is the most efficient but also the most expensive(15k-30k ish).
