A whole witch-hunt also happened when James Bulger was murdered. It’s not always race related. Offending white people is not always a crime, and never a capital offence.

It would depend on the launcher. Considering that cracked launchers do exist which just bypass this step entirely, I’m sure there are plenty which only really check once just to be on the legal side of the law. Third party launchers are a thing - there is nothing stopping the application from just running the game. I don’t think it would even be possible to permit third party launchers and somehow have the game break itself after a set period of time without internet connection, except for maybe an EULA which they would just have to be trusted to follow. And the EULA doesn’t mention third party launchers.

Cracking also isn’t really illegal in a lot of jurisdictions if you already own a licence for the game. But you wouldn’t even need to crack it for Minecraft anyway.

For context, I’m thinking more of a recent murder case that happened in the UK. Basically a sikh guy stabbed a British student, then called the police on him accusing him of racism. Police arrived and handcuffed the dying student as he bled out, dying on the ground in handcuffs. The Sikh’s family were complicit

Obviously, a whole myriad of immigration tension has arisen again (happened with the southport stabbings also) and people are rioting.

I think if we publicly executed people who carried out these atrocities, it would quench the general public’s bloodthirst and restore order, hopefully reducing hate crimes on the innocent immigrants.

It does happen, such as Lucy Letby. I don’t think she should be executed.
