Servers like tips b/c they earn more than min wage off them, but they also wouldn’t need tips if they were paid an actual decent wage.

It also makes tips more fun because you feel like it’s actually a nice gesture and not just something that’s expected so you can eat.

Well I’ve done that job and it also sucks so I’d say it’s worth a living wage but then again, I think US tipping culture is ridiculous and employees should just be paid a fair hourly wage and all tips are extra.

“Dating” feels very USA centric in my mind.

Over here, it’s more like friends or coworkers who grow close or random meetings at a party or something I guess. Then theres a few coffee or dinner dates but more often than not you’ll hang out at home. There’s the kissing and cuddling part, then usually once sex happens and texting throughout the day it slowly goes official and maybe a talk but the idea of seeing different people and scheduling regular dates for months is weird to me.
