I’m speaking of east Africa specifically, which is concerning Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi, and the eastern region of Congo. You are very specifically speaking of north western Africa.

China has its belt and road initiative, controls about 60% of the mines in Congo, is trying to take Mombasa or dar es salaam port, is building a port in kiliwa Tanzania, has a substantial amount of political and financial influence in eastern Africa. In short they have multiple companies leveraged in extracting natural resources in exchange for some small roads or bridges they have built. Also don’t mind the Chinese influencers capitalizing on racism of Africans. It gets so so so much more violent and dark than this. Human organs, infants being raped, any degree of human torment and degradation you can imagine but we would need to go deeper into the web to even see the shadows of those demons.

Most people in the rural areas around here don’t have access to the internet therefore no one cares what is happening or what will happen to them.

The US interfering with another government? Never. Sidebar I thought it was essentially a given that everyone has their fingers in someone else’s pie. Like Museveni (Uganda) influences Ruto (Kenya) and Kagame (Rwanda) every election and vice versa. Saudis influence Tanzania via Zanzibar and China is heavily influencing all of east Africa’s politics right now. The US is influencing everyone and you have China and Russia messing with the US and the US messing with them. If you look around nearly everyone is at least messing with their neighbors government and the bigger players have global influences going on. It’s one big competition for power and control between mainly sociopaths all the while the masses across the world mostly want the same thing, a good quality of life for themselves and their loved ones.

I’m just following their words as they are written and as they are typically defined. If we want to talk about logical fallacies and structuring ones argument logically it’s usually quite difficult to defend the always, never, forever, aka universal statements. It’s much easier to argue the singular, there is a case such that X is Y. Then you only have one case to prove and not possibly infinite.

I more so see such entities (cognitive or otherwise) like the demiurge aka assuming it/they are at the peak yet themselves just at another strata of reality, not yet reaching enlightenment and still trapped in samsara.

In the study of knowledge it becomes clear that what most call knowledge isn’t as absolute or concrete as at least I personally would prefer it to be and that which is seemingly solid is quite limited. For instance I assume all previous moments before now actually happened and reality didn’t just start as is like a video game booting into some programmed state. I don’t mind axioms such as that but it’s worth being aware it is an axiom/assumption/faith and not something I absolutely know to be the case.

In some occultic and gnostic philosophy there is a being known as the demiurge which believes it is the ultimate creator of reality but in actuality is a lesser being who only brought the physical reality into existence and is seen as ignorant, arrogant, or malevolent.

In some forms of Buddhism and Hinduism there is samsara or a cycle of rebirth which in some versions includes beings we would typically call Gods including the Christian/Jewish/Muslim God much like the demiurge falsely believing it is the ultimate being.

In short they are seen by other religious structures as lesser beings who create / influence the material world while there are yet higher states of being for more benevolent beings. The material world itself is often portrayed as one of the lowest realms through which practices of letting go of one’s desire or ego can free ones self and allow passage into higher states of being.

Kinda makes fascists who are blunt about their desires look better.

First and foremost I can suggest meditation. You don’t have to personally save the world, do what you can when you can and that’s enough, honestly more than enough. I can suggest figures like Pema Chodron and Ram Dass, they’ve been extremely helpful for me in extreme moments of life. I think Pema’s book Welcoming the Unwelcomed is pure gold.

Also don’t mind taking a break from it all. The world will keep on ticking. One day the sun will run out of fuel and vaporize the earth, one day the last star will go dark, one day the last black hole will evaporate. Nothing is forever besides change. That’s not to say it’s all pointless, more so to say enjoy it and if you can even enjoy the unpleasant things along with the pleasant ones.
