I’m sure that’d go over well.

I live in America but you could call me Europe because, yeah, same.
Though, I guess, if my services are hosted at home they’re technically American services… Though not always running American software.
Are exchangeable milk bottles a thing anywhere? I was thinking about this the other day and it’s insane we had an awesome system for exchanging milk bottles but we threw it all away for disposable plastic. I guess that insanity took place in a lot of industries.
So was the long list.

This just in: tourist traps exist
Exactly what we do! I “make” the bed when I get into it, using my feed to kick out the blankets.

The best part is that, if you’re on the fence, you can just run both. That’s what I did at first, but I’ve since let plex die.

We wouldn’t be banning vaping, we’d be banning disposable vapes.

I think they might’ve broken the laws of math there, as they’re certainly still spending a non-zero amount.
No cons is a crazy dishonest statement. There are multiple games I’d play if I still ran Windows. Some non-game software would work better (or at all). I also definitely spend longer tinkering with Linux than Windows. Obviously the pros of linux outweigh these cons for me, but the cons do exist.
If you ask in a Linux community on Lemmy, Reddit or anywhere you’ll get a yes.

I’ve been cruising with the most expensive model at work for a while now. After github’s pricing model change they finally asked us to be more conscious about which model we’re using (which was hilarious after we were constantly asked to use more AI), but eh, it’s easier to just leave it on Claude 4.8. I figure eventually the costs will catch up with the company.

Ngl I might use auto speed, I’ll definitely at least try it. It sounds like one of those things that, if it works would be awesome, but honestly I’d be surprised if it works and I end up leaving it on. I’d love for videos to be sped up the perfect amount for me, but I highly doubt that this feature will know how fast that is.
Ask music sounds dumb as hell and, after reading the article, idek what on-the-go mode is.
Edit: At first glance auto-speed seems kinda lit. I love the idea of saving time by watching videos at a faster speed, but feel like it ruins the experience, so maybe this could be a good stop gap. I’ll have to see if I like it long term. I’ll try to remember to return here to edit (but I’ll probably forget). On-the-go seems kinda neat I guess but I don’t think I’ll use it ever again. I didn’t even bother trying ask music.

I also use a fork on most systems, but I still use Firefox pretty often, and I can think of a lot more ways it could be worse and isn’t being enshittified.
Yes, I do. I wasn’t the one who said I don’t have any subscriptions.
Prusa is like the 3D printer of 3D printers. Bambu is like the Apple of 3D printers.

I’ve never understood TCGs when games that don’t rely on gambling exist and are really fun.
Proxies seem like the only reasonable way to play a TCG.
I refuse to pay for any monthly subscriptions
Must be nice to own your house and live off grid, but I can imagine that it’s annoying to have to visit the library to use the internet.
Some things, such as water, internet, electricity, and even Email have constant costs. Sometimes subscriptions are dumb, yeah, but I very much like having electricity and stuff without having to generate my own.
Except the telephone is just the LLM where you tell the LLM something and it regurgitates some BS.
