That trailer seemed like a parody of this genre of reboot. The slowed down Saira’s Song motif, the super serious narrator, the darker aesthetic, it all seems so clichéd and unintentionally comedic.

Anyone else get a suspicious anti-genocide vibe from this place? 😳

Billions of animals murdered for food every year: 😊
Celebrity doggo eaten: 🤬😤😡

I don’t believe in dumb people. Measured intelligence is a pretty useless concept that does more harm than good.
I think everyone spends their cognitive capacity, what they choose to care about and pay attention to in different ways, and then we as a society place more value on those qualities that are deemed useful from a perspective of productivity - and label those ‘high intelligence’.
The overall variance between healthy (non-brain damaged) human adults in ‘mental processing power’ for lack of a better term seems negligible to me though. Some people just use theirs to advance quantum physics, while others use it to organize their garden or draw Sonic the Hedgehog porn.

For announced games, only Dragon Quest XII and Monster Hunter Wilds Ultimate really.
Also looking forward to what Xenoblade developer Monolith Software is gonna do next, but I don’t plan on buying a Switch 2 anytime soon so it’ll probably be a few years before I can even play that.

That’ll show em

I wear the same clothes every day, as in the same style and color of shirt, pants, hoodie etc…
My wardrobe basically looks like that Simpsons gag where Homer’s wardrobe is just 20 identical white shirts and blue pants.
I picked that up from a buddhist monk who stated that not having to expend any mental effort worrying about what to wear each day felt freeing, and he was totally right.
I stole that same philosophy regarding my hair, and just buzz it all off once a week. Never a bad hair day that way!

Have you checked out Symfonium? Love that for music streamed from Jellyfin, and it has Android Auto listed in the settings, although I haven’t used that yet.

So called right to exist.

Intellectual property isn’t real.

There’s always stuff that needs repairing or maintenance around my rented apartment. I got an electric sander the other week which I used to make my >10 year old kitchen countertop and balcony furniture look brand new.
Right now I’m working on my mountain bike which I use to commute to work. I replaced the front chainring the other day to fix the chain slip which has been driving me nuts for months. Swapped out the chain and cassette while I was at it, and now I’m working on regreasing all the moving parts.
When I’m done with that I’ll descale and regrease all the internals on my espresso machine, since I haven’t done that in like a year. Then I got to fit actual chores like cooking, cleaning, haircuts and laundry in.
Always something to do, but I enjoy learning how to do my own repairs and maintenance to stay somewhat independent, plus it helps me save money so I don’t have to work as much.
Video games, music, books, building plastic model kits, meeting friends occasionally…
I ditched YouTube Music and spent two weeks downloading all the albums I only had on there to my old iTunes folder which I stopped updating in 2018.
Now I can expand all the individual artist folders in Mac OS’ file browser to give me list of every album in my library, copy and paste that into an LLM (Deepseek in my case) and ask it for analysis and recommendation based on my taste.
It works incredibly well and lets me ask for specific recommendations for whatever I’m in the mood for. Same with movies. 10/10.

Also been using Boost for years and very happy with it. My only gripe is that oftentimes embedded images like custom emotes are displayed at an enormous screen filling size, so sometimes if a user includes multiple emotes in a comment I have to scroll several screens to get to the next comment. This never was an issue in the Reddit Boost app, and the fact that its been unaddressed for so long now has me worried that the app may have been abandoned. No idea if it still gets updates, I should check one day.

There’s more profit to be made off a sick person slowly dying over years than a one-time procedure.
What the general population thinks rarely matters since our politicians are bought by the owning class.

The picture is pretty self explanatory imo, its an ice cube box that makes proper ice cubes, comes with two trays so you can make a whole bunch at once, the box acts as convenient storage so you can prepare a ton of cubes ahead of time, and the lid works as a tool for getting all the cubes in a tray out at once, without having to press them individually like on some other solutions.
The picture showcasing the well thought out design was preferable to posting a link or naming a specific manufacturer, since its a generic design you can find on Aliexpress or other sites from various brands. It should be easy to find by just looking up “ice cube tray box” or something.
A picture gets the idea across more easily than describing the product I think, and leaves less room for interpretation.
How many of us have them.
