It is really veird that this headline could have been actually a positive inclusivity news in a parallel dimension.

People usually don’t wish that without any reason. If the wisher wasn’t actually mentally unstable… Maybe it is time for some self reflection?

Depends on the country I guess.
But I would say: nobody cares as long as you have the paper to prove it. And most of the time they won’t even look at that proof.
What you will miss is experiencing a different culture. But if you plan on staying in your country - you don’t necessarily need it. (It is always better to know more about other people - but it isnt crucial to success)

A more kid friendly version:

At 24-26 their brain fully developed. So there is not much left to do.
They know what they want = not being poor. So they are using what they have. It’s not like they are dishonest about it.
Just tell them you love them and if they need help you will be there. And that’s your job in this situation.
