  • When asked to confirm that the Iranian regime had agreed to that term, Trump said: “Oh yeah, they’ve agreed to that.”

“I mean, now they can change their mind, but that was one of the things they’ve had to agree, they’ve agreed to that. That was the big thing,” he said.

My lord the man really said “They won’t have one because we said so, and they agreed. Except, of course, if the regime changes its’ mind.”

Remember the historic deal the Obama administration managed to get in place? Now, that is not to say the dems would have been peace-and-love about Iran; they’d happily continue their drone strikes on weddings in the Middle East. I highly doubt they would attack Iran unprovoked, though.

  • Worked at a shipping and printing store, on campus. The area keeps being developed, so there are architects who get plans printed and such. One of the clients we had usually sent the nicest people in to pick up his father’s company’s print orders.

One day, Junior came in to pick up some bound presentations. You see, his aura was one of importance and power. So when I could not link the order to the account immediately, he busted out a “Don’t you know who I am?”

I looked at him and gave him an apathetic No. I knew exactly who he was, because he dodged my calls when I would have to call him to collect payment for his father’s company. One day, he answered and yelled at me. So yeah, I knew who he was.

We figured it out together at the end. I’d like to say after the journey we had become friends, but…he was the biggest dickhead in the world. So no.

  • The $95 bus fare was never going to break the bank, Phillips-Hunter knows, but he and so many other Scots are already paying huge sums to see their men’s team compete in the World Cup for the first time in 28 years. Phillips-Hunter estimates it will take him two years to pay off the credit card debt he’s taking on for his six-day trip to the U.S., including the $1,350 he spent on a ticket for the Scotland-Morocco match.

How could a 6 day event be worth debt that would take 2 years to pay off?

People in the US generally don’t care about soccer, so they wouldn’t see the value in eating the cost for people to come here and use up a considerable amount of infrastructure.

I like soccer, but not enough to watch it (or any other sports). If the burden is so great on the cities, then the ones who make the most should offset the cost. But then how would those that make the most…make the most?
