Yes. Absolutely.

Yes. Absolutely.

Perhaps most interesting to me in this article:
Protestors had been there since Friday, the same day detainees announced a work and hunger strike to draw attention to what they say is a lack of proper medical care and sub standard food.

My favorite part is the driver being jailed and charged with a whole host of boating crimes. No boating license, missing required tools, etc

I was looking for a great but very stealable bike…
6 week incubation time is wiiiild though.

I think it’s pretty neat, but amusing that it’s an “early warning system”, but the last update was an hour ago. Call my crazy, but I don’t think that’s early enough.

Can I talk about being in a Nielsen panel or survey?
No. Once you begin participating, we ask that you do not share that you’re part of Nielsen research. We ask that you do not discuss your role with people outside of your household, including on social media websites, such as Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. This helps keep our research as independent as possible.

It’s a retired couple with adult children who don’t live with them.

I personally know at least one family who is a Nielsen household. You’re asked to keep your participation confidential which is probably why you don’t know anyone doing it.

We surveyed 3,605 U.S. adults from March 24 to 30, 2025. Everyone who took part in this survey is a member of the Center’s American Trends Panel (ATP). This report also includes findings from a separate ATP survey of 8,937 U.S. adults conducted from May 5 to 11, 2025.
If you giggle while they grope you, it makes them very uncomfortable.
Source: I can’t help but giggle because the whole thing is so dumb.

I’m saying no. I could find nothing on the books that prohibits specific printer tech or mandates hidden tracing be added for it to be legal.

Using the tool for illegal activities is illegal, owning a printer capable of producing fake notes isn’t.

Where are you seeing that it’s illegal? I own a pen plotter that can print things without tracking dots and that’s not illegal. I don’t see why this would be any different.
I’m pretty sure that’s close without saving changes. :wq would be needed to save.

I think the big difference is that they seem to be optimizing for customer satisfaction where others are not.
My favorite example I use often is how the Steam Deck comes with a case. It’s free and there’s not even an option to not get it. They know you need one, they include it. The Switch doesn’t come with a case. They know you need one but they don’t care. You’ll buy one if you want it bad enough and that’s more revenue.
It’s just a different type of optimization.

If only people knew how hard the staff was working to improve things and keep it up.
