Is it just me or is it franchise revival time?

I was going to sell my two 16 GB DDR4 kits but then I thought “what if my current kit breaks”. Better safe than a few bucks richer.

In a vacuum maybe but are they profitable if you add the infrastructure investments to the mix? What about model development? There was a shit ton of money that was spent. Covering the running costs is not enough. At some point someone has to pay for the investments.

AFAIK it’s not about drinking tap water. Pretty much everyone knows that our water is high quality. It’s more that it’s not freely offered at restaurants and requesting it is sometimes even frowned upon. We went to a spot where a friend was rather rudely cut off after the second glass of water while the whole table was ordering the “expensive” drinks.

I don’t think we have that rule in Germany. I only know that the cheapest drink on the menu must be non alcoholic.

Germany is very weird about water. We have clean good tap water everywhere but restaurants want you to pay for bottled water. I have been to a few countries and most of them give you water without asking. But not Germany.

What gpu does the laptop have? That is very important. Many games run well on AMD graphics but nvidia often can be problematic.

Like you said: RAID is not a backup. If it’s import follow at least the 3-2-1 rule. 3 copies on at least 2 different media, 1 of them off site.

I can also vouch that they taste very authentic. I have been to China and my wife has been there multiple times.

It’s not good to power off a mounted drive. At least for the file system. I don’t know about the drive itself.

I guess not buying a console is a way. Sure it’s cheaper than a pc but at some point you will have paid more in subscriptions and overpriced games than a pc would have cost.

Well it is written by fortinet who has a well known commercial firewall appliance. So it probably is an ad.

Xbox controllers are bad. I have two with stick drift. The steam controller has TMR sticks. They should never drift as long as the springs don’t wear out. They also have a few other goodies. They are more comparable to the Xbox elite controller.

I’m mostly happy with my qidi plus 4 but I’m not sure of they can be recommended. The prices are good but they have some problems with keeping up the quality as I heard. Also the qidi plus4 is quite loud and I heard they multi color unit is very loud. Speed and print quality are excellent though. I’m not sure if there is a better printer for the price but maybe paying a bit more might give you a better printer.
