Honestly it’s the same here in France, and I suspect everywhere… Most people only give a shit about criminal/immoral behavior from the elite if it confirms their political bias. Vapes don’t produce smoke but vapor, i.e. nothing “burns”. And inhaling smoke is by far the most harmful aspect of using cigarettes.
Not saying nicotine or vaping is harmless, but I’d be very surprised if vaping turns out to be as dangerous as smoking.

As a lifelong smoker, one of the hardest hurdle to quitting is going out, having a couple of drinks, then seeing other people smoke and resisting the urge to go buy an easily available pack.

Good question. From what I gather from infowar’s wikipedia article I guess it will be paid to infowar’s parent company which owns the IP. Before The Onion showed interest in acquiring infowars, the company was supposed to be liquidated with most of the proceeds going to the Sandy Hook families.

There are several legit reasons why you’d do this. Unit tests, for example: override getRandom() with an implementation that always returns the same series of numbers, and now you have repeatable tests without touching the production code.
