Huh, I saw this article in Wired this morning. Some people in the comments were calling the article clickbait. Some said it sounded too convenient. But, I dunno, it does seem like rage bait, trolling, engagement bait, run the internet now. Hence my exit from social media a while ago. To the smøl web!


I’ve actually used this a bit. I keep it bookmarked, mostly for cross referencing. It’s nice to see a search engine exists that isn’t explicitly driven by Google and/or paid promotion.

search.brave.com is pretty good, as is DuckDuckGo. But I’ve lately taken a liking to qwant.com. it’s pretty good and not American.
