Yeah I have a 20mph one and it feels pretty reasonable tbh
And super inconvenient mountains that you have to route tracks above, around, and through.
Fair enough! Sorry to generalize about the geography of a state I don’t live in. I just drove through Amarillo a couple years back and it was so empty out there that it made a lasting impression 😅
Have you seen how empty Texas is? And how flat it is? It’s kinda ideal train territory. If Norway and Switzerland can set up train routes, the Great Plains certainly can.

I can’t imagine working under this kind of surveillance. I hope their AI agents all learn how to slack off and do sudoku on the clock.

I never knew that they cut a Ninji partner from the game! They would have been adorable, I’m sure.
I love playing Paper Mario 64 randomizers over at https://pm64randomizer.com/! If you haven’t played in a long time, I highly recommend trying it out! You can unlock upgrades, badges, partners, and key items in a random order and have a fresh adventure every time you play.

He’s been listening to Rubio again…
I never really considered that Toronto is like mirror-image Chicago. But I see what you mean!

Yeah this is a reheated take that should have been posted in 2015.

I hate the “when” framing of this headline. That framing alone is propaganda to make it seem inevitable.

I instinctively downvoted this out of pure disgust. Then undid it because unfortunately this is relevant news, not his post. Yuck.

Accountability in the USA has been so poor that it’s forcing other countries to follow through just to prove they’re better (they are better, to be clear)

Happy birthday, idiot

“Warehouses” is such a dehumanizing term for de facto prisons [EDIT: Concentration Camps… I have no problem using the correct terminology for what this is]… I’m so angry. We all know where this leads. We have to stop them.

I think part of it is that being able to get by without a car on a daily basis in America usually means that you own premium real estate that is close to the workplace and crucial infrastructure.
Having said that, it’s also just terminal car-brain shining through.
Hope you like making paperclips while Clippy watches you and ratchets up your productivity expectations, buddy.
~also a joke, but an AI with surveillance capabilities has the potential to be a really annoying boss. See Amazon drivers that aren’t allowed to wipe their brow while they drive or take a pee break~
