Why is Go not a serious language? Programming backend stuff is great with it. Especially networking. Reading Go is not hard and in my opinion it is more easy to understand Go code you find from other programmers than Python. Companies are build on Go and people make a living from it. However you need to look into you local job market, where I live there are very few companies looking for Go developers. It is a serious language. But I don’t know much about zig, I used it once for CGO.

Giving your biometrics to the goverment is worse. Some liberals pretend, that the character of state could never change, it will always be a bourgeois democracy with guaranteed liberal rights. Its not like the bourgeois doesnt democracy would never “misuse” it (I hope it is clear what I mean), but what if there will be a switch to plain fascism in 10 years? Then they have the biometric data already and can use it. Imagine Hitler had such means.

My arguments against it are based from a IT-Security point of view. Just take a book about cryptographie and you’ll find enough explanations. This whole topic is not new. You are right. The feeling is like a contradiction. On one side I am aware, that there were more important things to do and that I had my priorities. On the other side, I have no projects and no small team anymore. Losing this routine completely at least for now feels somehow painful. Brain is dumb I guess. I hope I will find something, where I can continue.

Gender and nation are not a class. This is in total contradiction to Marxism. You can talk about an Australian working class, but you can’t talk about Australians as a class per se. That makes no sense. Same with gender.

It is about oppressed peoples in an colonised country fighting against imperialism, even if this means that the working class allies itself with the own bourgeoisie. But this does not create a class of its own. In the end the own bourgeoisie has to be fought as well.

This book does not state genders as classes. It shows clearly what the origin of family is and how it is strongly connected to private property.

We should be materialists and not based on vibes. Growing up in the west and attempting to shed liberal frameworks is not easy because for a lot of us it goes against our class interests.
