I know its probably the smallest issue in everything he said here, but using the 4k annual family average Healthcare cost just seems slimy. It just seems like average would be one of the worst aggregate statistics to use, just using median instead would help account for all the families using $0, and even better would be to stratify across family income and show it as median % of family income spent on Medical care.

Saying this as a huge anti-trump, left winger…the one advantage trump has on that front is he doesn’t seem to care about kompromat anymore, he knows his supporters will still eat his shit even if he started lining up and shooting them.

Not that that helps him with leverage on China, just that he’s so far removed from consequences for his actions that it’s doubtful blackmail would be extremely effective.

I think the general sentiment behind it is that people hate Google, and mainly used android phones because they are…were more open. Now that that’s going away, people would rather use iOS since apple has a better reputation for privacy, though that would be an incredibly low bar to limbo under compared to Google.

I really just hope degoogled android instances or Linux phones take off in the near future. I’d love to use grapheneOS, but it doesn’t support samsung phones, and im not at a point where im going to throw away a phone in good working order in order to get an OS.
