So avoidance of those things, depending on your variant. Check the ingredients on the things you buy. Things like “high fructose corn sirup” should be avoided. Get an overview of how much sugar is in the stuff you buy.
I guess you already have a new diet to manage, going vegan will only complicate that. Don’t get me wrong, i’d support it otherwise.

I don’t know much about good vegan nutrition, I know with flexitarian nutrition, B12 for circulation and heart and healthy animal fat for optimal brain/cognitive health can be challenging if you’re on the go. Your care provider should be able to address vegan or flexitarian nutrition that’s right for you. I think the main thing is sharply curbing added sugars and highly/ultra processed foods as much as possible. Best of luck.
