I spent enough time degoogling my phone to have the energy to find and setup a new dictionary or find the fuckin one setting or permission i fucked but shouldnt have fucked and have been going full frontal frank and beans to the world exposing my absolutely atrowshus spelling dumbness. Lookin to trade 2qty galaxy zfold 7s (one of which is still in the box) for one of the foldable google phones that can still be rooted (maybe even only be theoretically rootable, i dont think i found anyone who confirmed they rooted it). Iirc theres a new foldable pixel or whatever google named it coming out this summer and its the one that was released last year i thought i read that could still be rooted.
I know you didnt ask but im not putting anymore time into setting up a phone till i have one that google cant get into.
Shit, disable Google Play and Google Play Services, and most other Google apps, like I did, and get alternative apps from F-Droid or other sources.
Sure it’s not full GrapheneOS level secure, but should (if you’ve never signed into Google and have an older version of Android), should keep Google’s telemetry shit at bay.
Yeah, it sucks, my notifications no longer work, but hey, I’m open eyes and ears to suggestions for alternatives regarding notifications…
